High School teaching

The 2019-2020 academic year got off to a great start at Roxboro Community School (RCS) on Thursday, August 15.

Middle school Principal Donna Ingram said, “Opening day of school at RCS was filled with excitement! Thanks to the hard work and preparation by our staff, our first day was a smooth and successful one. The building was filled with lots of smiling faces and buzzing with student activity. Teachers and students seemed excited to be back at school. It was wonderful to see everyone!"

Welcoming approximately 725 new and returning Bulldogs was a pleasure, according to RCS Managing Executive Director Dave Ebert.

He said, “We had a great opening day here at RCS. Our teachers were prepared, ready and looking forward to the first day. All of our students seemed excited to be back at school. I appreciate all of the time and effort our staff put in to be ready for the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year.”

High school Principal Darkarai Bryant said, “Thanks to everyone who made the opening of school a success!  We are blessed to have such a supportive school community. I'm looking forward to a great year at RCS. Go Bulldogs!”
