IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR
MIDDLE SCHOOL
6th Grade Transition Camp/Orientation - August 3, 2022
Computer Pick-up will take place 30 minutes prior to each session.
Morning Session - 9 to 10:30 am
Afternoon Session - 1:00 to 2:30 pm
Evening Session - 5:00 to 6:30 pm
Responsible Use Policy must be signed (attached for your convenience)
Optional $50 Computer Insurance also available
7th Grade Open House - August 11, 2022 - 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
Computer Pick-up from 4:30 - 5:00 PM

8th Grade Open House - August 11, 2022 - 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Computer Pick-up from 6:00 - 6:30 PM

Important Note: If your child is 12 years of age or entering the 7th grade, you must show proof of Tdap vaccine and meningococcal vaccine.
Parents have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide an up-to-date immunization record for your child. If proof of vaccination is not provided by that time, your child will be suspended from school until they provide proof of immunizations as required by law. (Sept. 14, 2022)
HIGH SCHOOL
Note that students who do not attend Open House can pick up their laptop and/or parking pass on August 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Important Dates
August 3 -- Drop/Add & Parking Pass Application Drop-Off for Seniors, 9 am - 3 pm (lunch 12-1pm)
August 4 -- Drop/Add & Parking Pass Application Drop-Off for Juniors, 9 am - 3 pm (lunch 12-1pm)
August 5 -- Drop/Add & Parking Pass Application Drop-Off for 9th and 10th, 9 am - 3 pm (lunch 12-1pm)
August 10 -- HS Open House (10th – 12th grade) 5-6 pm. Parking Pass pick–up available after Open House.
August 10 -- HS Open House (9th grade) 7-8 pm. Parking Pass pick–up available after Open House.
August 15 -- FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Note: RCS will operate on an early release schedule the first two days of school (Aug. 15 & 16). Laptops will be distributed at Open House. The Responsible Use Policy form must be signed and submitted prior to the student receiving their laptop.
Parents and students should have received an email containing other useful documents with information for your review. Seniors must have their Meningococcal vaccination within 30 days of the start of school (Sept. 14). Please monitor your email as we get closer to the start of school for additional updates. We are looking forward to a successful 2022-23 school year, and look forward to seeing everyone soon!
