ATHLETICS

The goal of RCS Athletics is to offer student-athletes the opportunity to participate at a competitive level with schools of similar size and teams of similar ability. Student-athletes are representatives of RCS at all times, whether at home or away, and are held to some of the highest standards of conduct and academics in the state.

Roxboro Community School offers a wide variety of athletics at both the middle school and high school level. Middle school teams are for student-athletes in grades 6, 7 and 8. High school athletics covers grades 9 through 12.

Our Middle School teams are members of the Triangle North Athletic Conference (CCMS). The teams in our conference are Voyager Academy, Vance Charter School, Oxford Prep, Eno River Academy, Excelsior Classical Academy, Henderson Collegiate and your RCS Bulldogs.

The high school is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association,(NCHSAA) and competes as a Class 1A high school. As such, we are also eligible to compete for state championships. This year, our high school teams will compete in the Triangle North Athletic Conference along with the Voyager Academy, Vance Charter School, Oxford Prep, Eno River Academy, Excelsior Classical Academy and Henderson Collegiate.
