The goal of RCS Athletics is to offer student-athletes the opportunity to participate at a competitive level with schools of similar size and teams of similar ability. Student-athletes are representatives of RCS at all times, whether at home or away, and are held to some of the highest standards of conduct and academics in the state.

Roxboro Community School offers a wide variety of athletics at both the middle school and high school level. Middle school teams are for student-athletes in grades 6, 7 and 8. High school athletics covers grades 9 through 12.

Our Middle School teams are members of the Central Carolina Middle School Conference (CCMS). The teams in our conference are the Voyager Academy Vikings, Vance Charter School Knights, Oxford Prep Griffins, East Wake Academy Eagles, Falls Lake Academy Firebirds, and your RCS Bulldogs.

The high school is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association,(NCHSAA) and competes as a
