Last week, Biotechnology II students went to the NC State Fair. The students completed a scavenger hunt to find out about various agricultural related topics from soil erosion to the pork and poultry industries in North Carolina. 

6th graders learn more about the Doppler Effect in Mr. Ess’s Science class.

Mr. Abline’s World History students discuss Ancient Rome and Christianity.

Students in Mrs. Clayton’s Math class compare unit rates and review ratios.

7th graders perform student-choreographed dances to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” in Mrs. Coleman’s dance elective.

Students in Mrs. Jones’s English class write ghost stories prior to Halloween.

Mr. Czysz’s Mechatronics students work on designing, building, and testing cranes, cars, and helicopters.

Mr. Bell’s AP Statistics students work on an experimental design with multiple factors.

Students in Mrs. Carter’s 6th grade Social Studies class review their knowledge of the Stone Age.

8th graders in Academic Success begin to think about their post-high school aspirations by learning more about CFNC and their transcripts from Mrs. Horton and exploring potential careers based on interest inventories.
