Students in Mrs. Knaub’s 10th grade English class complete a webquest to practice their skills in determining the main idea of texts. 

7th graders in Mrs. Lewis’s math class learn to set up equations to tackle contextual math problems.

AP Spanish students go on an art walk where they recorded themselves discussing and evaluating pieces of famous art in Spanish.

Mrs. Denny’s 8th grade math students learn to determine if the lines of an equation are parallel or perpendicular. 

Students in Ms. DeVenuti’s science class complete a research project on organisms and river basins. 

7th graders in Mrs. Porter’s science class compare and contrast prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.

Students in Mrs. Bettendorf’s art elective work on a weaving project.

Ms. Rigsbee’s Math 2 students learn about graphing inverse, joint, and direct functions.

Mechatronics students in Mr. Czysz’s class build and test gliders.

All RCS students participated in our second Bulldogs Care Day of the 2019-2020 school year.  Projects students completed include painting at the animal shelter; cleaning up the yard, installing yard art, and delivering treats to Maple Heights residents; packing care packages and making cards for military troops; baking and taking cookies for patients and families at Hock Pavilion at Duke; buying gifts for "Angel Tree" children; working at the animal shelter; visiting 2nd graders at Woodland Elementary to read the Thanksgiving story, make Thanksgiving story bracelets, and create Place Value turkeys; cleaning Allensville ball park; and cleaning up trash in the neighborhoods surrounding RCS.
