Collin Winstead, a 2016 Roxboro Community School alumnus, graduated May 22, 2021 from the United States Military Academy West Point with a bachelor’s degree in science and as a commissioned officer in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. His major was Systems Engineering.
Collin will report to Fort Benning, Ga. in July to complete Ranger School, Officer Training and Air Borne jump school before reporting to Lewis McCord Army/Air Force Base in Washington State.
While at West Point, Collin completed Air Assault, Norwegian March Badge, received the Redondo Award, and his group's Senior Capstone paper was published. His I-4 Company Handball team is the 2021 West Point Champion.
