What RCS Students Are Learning This Week

RCS Juniors participated in our 1st annual ACT Seminar. Students selected various ACT sessions to attend in order to better prepare them for the upcoming ACT test.


Students in Mrs. Clayton’s Biotechnology Health Science I class learn proper pipetting skills.

6th graders in Mrs. Coleman’s Dance class practice various movement exercises.


Science students in Mrs. Porter’s class learn about dominance within their Genetics unit.


7th grade English students in Mrs. Griffin’s class practice new vocabulary.


Mr. Ess’s Science students learn about various theories related to space. 


Mr. Butner’s Social Studies students discuss issues related to westward expansion in the United States.


6th graders in Mrs. Clayton’s Math class practice solving absolute value problems.


Mrs. Devenuti’s Science students study geologic time periods through a virtual lab.


Students in Mrs. Carter’s class learn about religions of Ancient India.


7th graders in Mrs. Cobb’s Social Studies class discuss King Louis XIV and other absolute monarchs.


Mrs. Jones’s 6th grade English students recite poems they wrote.


RCS students participated in our third Bulldogs Care Day event for the year. Projects students completed ranged from cleaning and sprucing up locations within the school; writing Thank You cards, creating goodie bags, and creating Valentine’s cards for local nursing home residents, military personnel, and local teachers; completing tasks for local elementary school teachers; creating bird feeders; tutoring and leading STEM activities for local elementary school students; painting and writing positive signs, notes, and rocks for placement around the school and surrounding neighborhoods; creating bookmarks for the library; making Valentine decorations for Person County Public Library; and sewing port and mastectomy pillows.
