RCS is seeking a high school math teacher for the 2019-20 school year. This full-time position reports to the High School Principal. RCS participates in the State retirement and State Health Plan, and offers the Pierce Group Flexible benefits program and a $10,000 life and accidental death and dismemberment policy at no cost to employees. All High School students interested in playing soccer this year need to contact Coach Jody Allen through text (336-322-0231) or email (jodya44@gmail.com) with their email address for the student and at least one parent, so you can be included in important information prior to our season starting this year.

Roxboro Community School (RCS) high school science teacher Ashley Bailey is the 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year.

Are we sad Gina Lunsford is retiring? Yes! But, she seems fine with it.

The Fall Sports Athletic Preseason Meeting for high school and middle school parents will be Wednesday, August 7, at 6 p.m., in the gym. Athletic packets will be handed out, and paperwork will be turned in at this meeting. This includes High School Volleyball, Cross Country, Men's Soccer and Women's Tennis, Women's Golf, and Middle School Volleyball, Girls' Tennis and Boys' Soccer.
RCS said goodbye to four family members today. Nancy Clayton, Faye Daniel, Jean Johnson and Gina Lunsford retired. We wish them all well, but they will be missed.




Beginning today, Monday, June 3, RCS will operate on Summer Hours -- Monday-Thursday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. -- until Thursday, August 8.
The Roxboro Community School Board of Directors will meet Monday, June 10, at 6 p.m., in the conference room.
Bulldog Day will be Saturday, September 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Go ahead and mark your calendars for some fun and to support RCS Athletics.

Report Card Pick-up
High school and middle school report cards will be available for pick-up at the main office starting June 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
