RCS will operate on summer hours June 6 - July 28. Summer hours are Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm.

Jill Clayton, Roxboro Community School (RCS) biotechnology and personal finance instructor, has been named Teacher of the Year for 2022-2023. High school principal Darkarai Bryant made the announcement today at the school’s end-of-year staff luncheon.
Bryant said, “When visiting Mrs. Clayton's class you can see her love for content, and she's done a great job searching out and acquiring resources in order for students to glean all they can from her instruction, and get the grounding needed for those that choose to pursue a career in the medical profession.”
He added, “She has been an asset since she first came to RCS and it is wonderful to have her in the Bulldog family.”
Clayton said, “I am truly grateful to be named Teacher of the Year at Roxboro Community School. To be placed in the same category with fellow teachers that have won this award in the past is an honor. RCS is a great place to teach because of the wonderful administration, faculty, and staff.”
Clayton has been on staff at RCS for four years.

RCS 6th Grade Parents, 6th grade packets are ready to be picked up in the main office. Inside this packet you will find the 6th grade EOG scores for reading and math, 6th grade report card and any honor roll certificates earned during T6, S2 and F1.

RCS middle school students are celebrating the end of testing and the end of the school year with a block party today.
RCS 7th Graders celebrated the end of testing at Palace Pointe yesterday. They saw a movie, bowled, skated, and enjoyed the arcade and snacks! RCS is #grateful to Palace Pointe for working with us to provide this fun for our students!
Due to multiple events on campus this evening -- including the third round soccer playoff game and Senior Awards Night -- parking may be limited. Primary parking will be in the front lot. Overflow parking will be in the Woody Lot behind the school.

TIME CHANGE! Due to the possibility of rain, tonight's 2022 NCHSAA 1A Women’s Soccer 3rd Round, RCS vs Clover Garden, has been postponed until tomorrow, Wednesday, May 25, at 4 pm at RCS. Admission is $7 cash at the gate.
