Eckrich and Extra Yard for Teachers visited RCS today, donating $1,000 for school resources. There were also some tasty sausage samples and fun games for students and teachers.

The middle school Volleyball Workout scheduled for this Thursday, August 19 has been changed to 3:30-5:00 pm, still at RCS.

There will be a high school boys' basketball Interest Meeting on Tuesday, August 24 at 3:15 pm in the Athletic Lounge. If you are interested in trying out for basketball, but are unable to attend the meeting, please email Coach Bettendorf at bettendorfjl@roxborocs.org.

Students who are in 6th band elective or 7th grade band can attend a Zoom meeting about renting instruments today, Tuesday, August 17 at 6 p.m. An email containing more information was sent to students and parents.

Tomorrow's RCS men's soccer game vs. Bartlett Yancey High School has been postponed until October 12.

Due to the tennis courts being repaired at Huck Sansbury, the start of the middle school girls' tennis season has been postponed until at least Tuesday, August 24. More information will be available next week.

RCS Varsity Volleyball will travel across town Thursday, August 19 to take on Person High School at 6 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the gym or online. A link will be emailed to RCS students, parents and staff. Face masks are required in the PHS gym.

The RCS Volleyball team plays Research Triangle High School tomorrow, August 17, at 6 p.m. All tickets for home RTHS athletic events are now purchased digitally through GoFan. A QR code placard was sent to RCS students and parents via email. It directs mobile browsers to the page where tickets can be purchased. Someone will be at the door tomorrow night to scan digital tickets or assist people in navigating to the ticket site, but no cash box will be available.

Middle school boys' soccer tryouts will be on Wednesday and Thursday, August 18 and 19 from 3:30 to 5 pm at the RCS field. All participants must have a current physical on file. Please contact Coach Bryan with questions at troybryan68@gmail.com.
