
Strawbridge will be at RCS on Wednesday, October 27 to take grade six through 11 pictures.

The RCS PTSO regrets to announce that the Holiday Extravaganza and the Gingerbread Dog House competition, planned for November 6, had to be postponed until spring. Many factors led to the change in plans and we felt it best to wait in order to make the event a truly wonderful experience for patrons and vendors. We apologize for any inconvenience. The time has changed for high school men’s basketball tryouts tomorrow, Monday, October 25. Tryouts will be from 6:30 to 8 pm in the Dog House.


Friday, October 29 will be a Jeans Day. The $2 donation will benefit the RCS Band. This WILL BE A JEANS DAY ONLY -- no Halloween costumes will be permitted.

NCHSAA Women's Tennis Regionals are today at Rosewood High School in Goldsboro. Start time is 1 pm. Emily Rogers and Allyshea Oliver will compete in singles. Olivia Townsend, Olivia Ess, Cora Bell, and Makenzie Partridge will compete in doubles. Good Luck Ladies! Go Bulldogs!


The Bulldogs will take on Kipp Pride in First Round Volleyball NCHSAA Playoffs on Saturday, October 23 at 3 pm in the Dog House. Admission Price is $7.
RCS athletic passes are invalid for NCHSAA playoffs.

The Dining Hall can not operate without the help of volunteers. Parents and grandparents are needed between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily to help serve RCS students. We need a minimum of three volunteers per day and helping out offers an easy way to fulfill volunteer hour requirements. Volunteers are needed on October 21, 22, 28 and all days in November. Congratulations to the RCS varsity women's tennis team! All six played in the Tennis Conference yesterday at the Granville Athletic Park. All six won conference, and all six are going to Regionals.
