RCS middle school cross country wrapped up the conference meet Wednesday. The girls came in 4th place with Katie Mann finishing 4th and Lilly Powell 13th. The boys came in 6th place with Collin Wills and Josh Walker as the top two runners. The team also recognized Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink socks. #bulldogproud

The High School Journalism Club will meet Wednesday, November 2, immediately after school, in room 220. Members will be asked to help with a small but important yearbook project.


High school boys' basketball workouts today, Thursday, October 20, will be at the RCS Gym from 3:30 to 5 pm. (NOT at Helena)


RCS Cross Country finished 3rd place for girls and 5th place for boys in the Conference Finals Tuesday, led by seniors Josh Bobbitt and Alexandra Winstead. RCS was voted by Conference Coaches for the Sportsmanship Award. The team offered thanks to Morgan VanderPoppen, who saw the need for a fifth girl to qualify the team to compete and stepped up to help make the season a success. Coach Tommy Winstead said, "Beverly Hicks and I are proud Bulldog Coaches!" RCS will compete in the regionals at Cary Soccer Park on October 29.

Sewing Club members enjoyed making scrunchies this week! We meet again on Wednesday, October 26 from 3-4:30 in room 106. Come learn with us. No experience is needed!

Max Dallas from State Employees Credit Union spoke with personal finance students this week about money management and loans. Mrs. Jill Clayton said, "I am very thankful to have the support of our local citizens and businesses in helping us prepare RCS students to be productive members of society."
