The 12th Annual Red and Black Basketball game will be next Friday, November 4 at Roxboro Community School. This is a major fundraiser for the RCS basketball program and helps to cover costs of practice equipment, uniforms and other expenses. Admission will be $5. Kids 5 and under get in FREE. The high school boys' team will scrimmage at 7 pm. Please come out to meet the team and support your RCS Basketball Program!!!

RCS middle school cross country wrapped up the conference meet Wednesday. The girls came in 4th place with Katie Mann finishing 4th and Lilly Powell 13th. The boys came in 6th place with Collin Wills and Josh Walker as the top two runners. The team also recognized Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing pink socks. #bulldogproud

RCS Cross Country finished 3rd place for girls and 5th place for boys in the Conference Finals Tuesday, led by seniors Josh Bobbitt and Alexandra Winstead. RCS was voted by Conference Coaches for the Sportsmanship Award. The team offered thanks to Morgan VanderPoppen, who saw the need for a fifth girl to qualify the team to compete and stepped up to help make the season a success. Coach Tommy Winstead said, "Beverly Hicks and I are proud Bulldog Coaches!" RCS will compete in the regionals at Cary Soccer Park on October 29.
