The RCS Scholastic Book Fair is in full swing!

Girls' middle school softball workouts will start on Tuesday, October 4 from 3:30 until 5pm at Bushy Fork Ballfield, 7901 Burlington Rd Hurdle Mills. Athletes will need to complete information on Dragonfly to participate.

The High School Journalism Club interest meeting will be Wednesday, October 5, at 3:05 in room 220. If you enjoy photography, graphic design, or writing, this club is perfect for you! Students will have the opportunity to learn about all three of these skills while applying their knowledge through various interesting activities and projects throughout the year. Come join, discuss, and create with us!

Reminder: We have a limited number of extra PSAT tests for any 10th graders who want to take the exam on October 25. Sophomores need to contact Mrs. DeVillier at devillierjh@roxborocs.org or 336.597.0020, ext 322 to sign up by NLT October 5, 2022. Sophomores are asked to pay the $18 fee. All RCS Juniors are already registered.

Strawbridge will be at RCS on Thursday, October 27 to take grades 6-11 pictures. Senior make-up pictures will be taken that day as well.

DELAYED! The RCS Scholastic Book Fair, scheduled to begin Monday, October 3, will be delayed because, due to today's weather, the materials will not be delivered. We hope to start the fair on Tuesday or Wednesday next week, but won't know for sure until Monday. If you volunteered to help us on Monday, thank you! We will update you on plans as soon as we hear from Scholastic. In the meantime, please stay dry and safe.

RCS Seniors, due to school being a remote day tomorrow, the original due date for Senior Dues and Busch Gardens Payment is extended until Monday, October 3 at 3pm.

On Friday, September 30, the streets uptown will begin closing at 3 pm and will fully close by 4 pm for the Personality Festival. Please plan accordingly when leaving RCS or picking up students.
