Middle school baseball workouts are canceled for tomorrow, Thursday, September 22. Workouts will resume on Tuesday, September 27, from 3:45 to 5 pm at Optimist Park.

There will be a High School Journalism Club interest meeting on Wednesday, September 28 at 3:05 in room 220. If you enjoy photography, graphic design, or writing, this club is perfect for you! Students will have the opportunity to learn about all three of these aspects while applying their knowledge through various interesting activities and projects throughout the year. Come join, discuss, and create with us!

Help us build the field our softball athletes dream of! The field will allow our Bulldog softball teams to play at Optimist Park, as our baseball teams have done for years.

Strawbridge Fall Sport team and individual (optional) pictures will be taken Tuesday, Sept. 20 beginning at 9:30 a.m., on the RCS athletic field/gym. This includes both middle and high school. Student-athletes should wear game uniforms and game shoes for the photos. Picture forms will be located in the main or coaches' offices. Contact Coach Goodson or Coach Jones with questions.

The RCS team raised $1,126 for cancer research and treatment and served yummy treats at yesterday’s Person County Relay for Life. #bulldogproud

RCS seeks knowledgeable, passionate, and experienced coaches to help build our Bulldog athletic programs. Successful candidates must enjoy working with student-athletes, possess the ability to take initiative, and demonstrate a strong work ethic while maintaining a positive attitude. We currently have a vacancy for a High School Men's Tennis Coach, beginning Spring 2023. Person County's Relay for Life is Friday. Bulldogs are encouraged to wear purple with their jeans tomorrow to show support. RCS families are encouraged to attend Relay for Life, from 4 to 10 pm at Huck Sansbury. RCS has a booth again this year and HOSA members are selling ice cream for a great cause.

Due to the potential this evening of severe thunderstorms and hail we are going to postpone today's tennis and middle school/high school soccer games. Rescheduled dates TBD.

Come find out the benefits to being involved in a North Carolina Youth Garden Club and learn the planned activities for this school year. Bulldog Blooms is open to all RCS students. If you enjoy plants, flowers, and working outdoors, this is the club for you!

Friday, September 16 will be a Jeans Day. The $2 donation will benefit Class of 2023 Celebration.

Dylan Hall was our 1st place boys’ finisher for the Bulldog Day 5K with a time of 20.47. Aurora Bettendorf was our 1st place girls’ Bulldog Day 5K finisher with a time of 25.37. We are #bulldogproud of them!
